IAPMO IGC 285 – Water Closet Flanges for use with Floor-Covering Membranes IAPMO IGC 285-2012 (R2020) covers ABS and PVC water closet flanges that have a clamping seal for use with floor-covering membranes and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance tests, and markings.

Note: Water closet flanges covered by this Standard are intended to prevent water from seeping fromimproperly sealed wax bowl rings, thereby helping to reduce property damage caused by water.
