AS 1242 – Zinc ingots

Applies to zinc metal in ingot form made from ore or other material by a process of distillation or by electrolysis. It provides for three grades, viz. Zn 99.99 (Special High Grade), Zn 99.95 (High Grade) and Zn 98.5 (Prime Western).
