Tolerances andsuggested methods of mitigating tolerance conflicts forcommon concrete construction procedures and typicalconstruction materials that interface with or connect toconcrete elements are described. This guide is not intendedto apply to special structures, such as nuclear reactors andcontainment vessels, bins, prestressed circular structures,thin shell structures, and single-family residential construction.Construction projects may require tolerances that areless or more stringent than contained in this guide.
