ASTM F289 – Standard Specification for Molybdenum Wire and Rod for Electronic Applications
1.1 This specification covers two grades of molybdenum wire less than 0.050 in. (1.27 mm) in diameter and one grade of molybdenum rod 1.00 in. (25.4 mm) or less in diameter as follows:
1.1.1Grade 1-Commercially pure molybdenum wire suitable for leads, hooks, supports, heaters, and metal-to-glass seals.
